John was a founding partner of Lidkea, Stob & Associates in 1979. He now has 41 years experience in all counselling modalities and has worked in hospitals, prisons, children agencies and in private practice. In 1981 John pioneered the beginnings of Employee and Family Assistance Programs in Niagara. He is past President of the Niagara Chapter of the Ontario Association of Social Workers, has served on the Provincial Board of Directors and has received the Distinguished Service Award from that organization. His current focus is on Business Consultation pertaining to harassment issues and intra-departmental conflict. On the personal side, John has been an active member of his Church and is an avid runner, having completed both the Chicago and New York Marathons. Most recently he has returned from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. His guiding commitment through these years of counselling and community involvement has simply been to serve people in need.

George Nicolaidi BA,MEd.,RSW began his career in 1975 working in residential care with emotionally and behaviourally challenging children and youth who came to the attention of the local Child welfare agency. His position required behavioural management, treatment and assessment of emotionally and behaviourally challenging children and youth. Some of the youth were referred by youth justice and referrals from psychiatric wards as well. He developed his experiences working with community agencies and professionals during those years. His career also moved into social worker and supervisor in Child Protection. He served on a one year secondment at Niagara Children’s Services as a Hard to Serve Case Resolution Planner, the predecessor to Contact Niagara. His role was that of advocacy and service obtainment for hard to serve clients and special needs. George also started his private practise in 1986 with the LSA firm. Initially he provided Court Assessment for Custody Disputes and Mediation. He later moved to individual, couples,group and family counselling. The firm provided George with many opportunities to service large corporate employee assistance plans in Niagara as well as walk-ins. His counselling included university and college students requiring assessment and or counselling. He also provided emergency critical stress debriefing for first responders. More recently he was also employed as a university counsellor and clinical supervisor. George brings a broad and lengthy base of experience to his counselling role. He is a passioned advocate for his clients well-being and their ability to realize and navigate through what ever issues they present.
